Hellvival - Minecraft Nether Survival Server

I am writing to you about my Minecraft Nether Survival server, which I would love for you to give feedback on and possibly play.

First, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am an 18yr old Astrophysics student attending university for a doctoral degree in Astrophysics. Besides my studies, I create educational astronomy content on social platforms and my blog website; you may view them here if you like:

I had always enjoyed playing Minecraft on the side when I had a little free time and especially into nether survival. I have watched nether survival videos on Youtube and routinely played Nether survival.

I created Hellvival because I realized the lack of servers focused on nether survival. Starting your Minecraft survival journey in the nether completely changes how you play and experience Minecraft(It's also much more fun and challenging, in my opinion!).

Hellvival is a Minecraft server where you spawn directly in the nether. Players are greeted by a small spawn area and, more importantly, a new player area. The new player area features mini-biomes and the types of blocks and mobs you can find there, and important crafting recipes which help people learn nether survival and get started. Once they leave the spawn and embark on one of the Hellways or into the wild, they are on their own. Everything from PVP, raiding, and griefing is permitted beyond spawn and the Hellways.

There are also overworld unlock events that promote exploration of the overworld for a limited time. This makes it so the player focuses on building their primary shelter and living area within the Nether instead of just finding a nether portal and returning to standard Minecraft survival without ever returning to the nether.

The server has been in development for a little over a month, and I have it listed on sites like Planet Minecraft and similar server lists and forums. We have a bit of difficulty growing.

This server is playable on both Java and Bedrock.

The Youtube trailer is currently a placeholder as I am working with people on making a trailer that better presents our features and gameplay aspects. As of March 25, 2023, the trailer has a 100% like rate.
